August 8, 2010 - Ken Bourque's Nautical Cruise presented by AlphaCars
On Sunday, August 8th, we will revisit Falmouth, MA and the schooner Liberté, departing from the pier located behind the Clam Shack at 227 Clinton Ave. The 74foot 3-masted schooner, will sail for 2 hours in the waters off Cape Cod. Dinner will follow at the Oyster Too Restaurant.
Charity Event:
Vermont and New Hampshire Mercedes Benz Club Helps Out Haitian Relief Through Charity Pig Roast On Saturday, July 31, the Northern New England Star Section of the Mercedes Benz Club of America is reaching out to the people of Haiti to help them recover from the terrible devastation that has become their existence since the earthquake of January 12. Club members are holding a Charity Pig Roast to raise money for the Vermont Haiti Project, a grassroots charity organization based in Burlington Vermont that puts all of the money it raises to work directly for the people in Haiti.

2010 Minuteman Most Active Member Competition!
Starting in January 2010, the Minuteman Section will begin a new, year-long competition for the Most Active Member. This competition will be judged by what specific member frequently attends events as well as contributes to our section the most.
Rules:
1. Cannot be on the board. Board includes the position of President, Vice-President, Treasure, Secretary, Newsletter Editor, Web Site Editor, Director Emeritus, Membership Chair, Technical Editor, members of Board of Directors
2. Points are accumulated over a calendar year. Once the year rolls over, all points are reset to zero.
Scoring:
Five (5) points for attending an event
Five (5) points for arriving at the event in a Mercedes
Five (5) points for bringing a non-member who is of legal driving age and has a driver's license
Ten (10) points for winning a competition event
Ten (10) points for helping out at an event
Twenty-five (25) points for running an event.
Winner:
The member with the most points will win a cash prize. There is a minimum of 50 points required to win. The winner will be announced at the 2011's Annual Dinner.
