2026 Spring Technical Session at:
Tom Masano Mercedes Benz
815 Lancaster Avenue
Reading, PA 19607
Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 10 am to 1 pm
After enduring a rough winter, the MBCA-NEPA section and Tom Masano Mercedes Benz will be hosting a technical session that will cover the following topics.
Waking up your Mercedes Benz after spending the winter in storage
You made the effort last fall to prepare your car for winter storage. Now it’s time to take the car out of winter storage. This will build on the guidance in previous sessions about preparing a car for winter storage.
Mercedes Benz hybrid vehicles and how they work.
Mercedes-Benz has what they categorize as mild hybrids, plug-in hybrids (PHEV), and performance plug-in hybrids. Items that will be covered include:
· How each works and advantages of that type - including why did Mercedes decided to add this to the conventional power train, and why customers should be excited.
· Need to plug in, and if so, how often and how long? What type of commercial chargers can be used, and what home hookup is needed (equipment requirements, voltage/amperage requirements, estimated cost if available)?
· Additional maintenance items with cost estimates through 100k miles
We hope that you will be able to join us for this informative tech session. Please let us know if you are planning to attend.
