It can truthfully be said that Lime Rock Park's annual Historic Festival is unlike any other automotive event in the world. It's a weekend of motoring magnificence, featuring swap meets, special guests and displays, 40 historic race car competitions, honored collectors, and a fabulous Concours d'Elegance.
It's as if you combined the best elements of Monterey, Goodwood, and Amelia Island, then brought it all to Connecticut's Northwest Corner during the first weekend of September. Friday, Saturday, and Monday feature non-stop, on-track competition across a diverse set of historic racing classes.
Sunday: Gathering of the Marques & Concours
On Sunday, the racing pauses and the track transforms. The Gathering of the Marques hosts enthusiasts and clubs representing nearly every make and model, all arranged entirely around the 1.5-mile Lime Rock course.
With as many as 800+ cars expected — and nearly 1,000 enthusiast cars and motorcycles on display in total — the event showcases an incredibly diverse display of vehicles beautifully grouped by make, model, or country of origin.
Important Entry Notice: Entry for the Gathering of the Marques strictly closes at 10:00 a.m. If you do not arrive before 10:00 a.m., you will not be able to park on the track.
Event Schedule
- Friday, Sept 4: Practice & Qualifying, Swap Meet, and Participant Cocktail Party & Dinner.
- Saturday, Sept 5: All-day racing and Swap Meet.
- Sunday, Sept 6: Sunday in the Park Concours & Gathering of the Marques, plus the Swap Meet.
- Monday, Sept 7: All-day racing and Swap Meet.
Tickets & Special Admission
Veterans and Active Military receive FREE General Admission into all major racing events! Thank you for your service (please bring proof of service to ticketing booths upon arrival). Youths 12 and under are also FREE!
