Again this year, Lester's Automotive held their annual charity car show in Comfort, Texas at the Singing Waters Vineyard. This year, the proceeds went to help the Hope for Hero's and Mal-FFunctions. Many great cars on display this year including several of our members cars. Bill Rasco and wife Lucy brought their 1989 Rolls Royce to the show. David Geise brought his 2008 SL550 sporting new Mandrus wheels. Kevin Schuble brought his white CL AMG. Our Houston Club members Kathy and husband Douglas also attended this years event. Kathy, Douglas, Martin and I stayed in Boerne on Friday night. We dined next to the Blanco River at the Dodging Duck Brew Pub. It was a cool pleasant evening to sit outside and listen to live music. Saturday was a gorgeous day and a very fun drive to the Vineyard along Skyline Dr. Beautiful views of the Texas Hill Country. We checked out all the cars, had lunch and listened to more live music under the pavilion. Kathy and Douglas were on their way to Chicago from there - driving their C300. Their SL stayed at home due to a window malfunction.
