Southern Stars Section showed decades of history at the 2023 Jacksonville International Auto Show!

“The Jax Auto Show” was a great opportunity for us to share Mercedes-Benz vehicles with vehicle buyers and enthusiasts who might not otherwise see a variety of exotic, historic, modern, and daily-able vehicles!

We shared 6 vehicles, including a 1964 Mechatronick” 230 SL (with a modern Mercedes-Benz V8!) and a a 1997 SL 500 40th Anniversary roadster in gorgeous Crimson Metallic.

There was 2005 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren (with butterfly doors), designed by Gordon Murray, who honored his McLaren F1 design by using similar doors!), created when Mercedes-Benz had a 40% financial interest in McLaren.

We also shared a 2009 SL 63 AMG roadster, and a 2012 E 550 cabriolet!

A gorgeous 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG (“Gullwing) was also generously shared, the first “built from scratch” car by AMG!

We had a fantastic time speaking to many interested parties of all ages, and the kids enjoyed seeing the two “BATMOBILE”-like cars!

We appreciated the new members we met from the event, and look forward to future Jax Auto Shows!
