Our special thanks to Black Forest, LLC for hosting this MB Tech session. After a four year absence due to COVID-19, sixty-five of our Wisconsin Section MB Club members and guests all enjoyed participating in this popular club event once again.
Michael, Keith, Dan, Randy, Brad, and Matt (Black Forest technicians) were all involved in explaining various aspects of their MB service and repair shop's operations. Keith gave a presentation and answered questions on SL roadster models displayed up on the car lifts. Tours of their shop areas and various classic MB car restoration projects were also included.
We all enjoyed meeting and talking with the Black Forest technicians as well as our fellow MB club members and other attendees who expressed an interest in joining our MB club.
We were all treated to an excellent German buffet lunch made and served by Chef Michael and his daughter, Sasha, as well as other employees. This included 3 types of Usinger sausages (bratwurst, knackwurst and white bockwurst) all served with German-style sauerkraut, potato salad, and roasted small potatoes. Also had corned beef, cabbage and carrots. Spaten beer was on tap as well as sodas and cookies for dessert. Everyone had plenty of food to eat.
After lunch, Sasha and Michael drew attendees' ticket numbers for prizes donated by Black Forest and International Autos Milwaukee, MB dealership.
It's easy to see why the Black Forest, LLC continues to be the most popular independently-owned MB repair shop for our club members and other owners of older MB cars.
