Oil Change musings

Changing your own oil on most recent Mercedes Benz is especially easy if you invest in a good extractor, one that can hold 10 quarts or so. Since the filter is on top of most recent engines and the hood will probably go all the way up into the "service" position, it is a simple, satisfying job that can be done in about an hour. The best non MB filters are around $12.00. Personally, I like PurFlux.
